About the ministry
Evangelist Matthew Lee Ministries is Christ’s Heartbeat’s evangelism daughter ministry, run by our founder Matthew Lee.
This ministry precedes the founding of CHMI and was founded in September 2016 when Matthew – led by the Spirit of the Lord – began his YouTube channel Evangelist Matthew Lee. Since its inception, there have been almost 100 short encouraging messages posted on the YouTube channel.
In July 2020, during the covid-19 pandemic, the Lord placed it on Matthew’s heart to begin a daily devotional video series, to encourage people during the challenging times. God gave him the title “From heaven at seven” for the series, which to date continue to premiere live every Monday to Friday at 7am (CAT) on the Evangelist Matthew Lee Facebook page and YouTube channel.
However, the ministry has also expanded to include a variety of additional facets. EML Ministries have developed their own unique Soul Winning Workshop, called “Code RED” where they train up entire congregations in living a lifestyle of evangelism and how to be a more effective witness to those around us.
EML Ministries also works in partnership with various other ministries in setting up crusades, preaching at revival events, ministering during Sunday church services among other ministry related activities…
Evangelist Matthew also teaches some of the foundational courses and the 1st-3rd year Bible College students at various CFCI Bible College campuses.
Through the personal efforts of Evangelist Matthew, the ministry has seen over 1000 people make the decision to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior.

#ThrowbackThursday to February, for the launch of CFCI's Leadership Academy in Malawi...

From the 21st to the 25th of February, I had the privilege of accompanying Dr Andre to Malawi for the launch of CFCI's Leadership Academy. Dr Andre and I, together with the team from CFCI head office, had been working tirelessly behind the scenes for around 8 months leading up to the launch, conceptualizing the rollout and developing the content for the first semester, which is what we taught in Malawi.
.
The goal of Leadership Academy is to reach the unreached, teach the untaught and to connect those who are disconnected, through life-giving, Biblical teachings. Leadership Academy aims to cultivate a new generation of Christian leaders by grounding them in Biblical truth, deepening their faith, strengthening their character, and preparing them to lead in ministry, so that God's name may be glorified in every nation.

We conducted training over the course of four full days, where we trained 20 trainers on how to communicate our content, in a relevant and simple way for anyone to be able to understand. After completing the training, the trainers wrote a test on the content they were taught, and were given their teaching assignments to complete over the next year.
.
Between the 4 days of training, we also had a Sunday service at CFCI Command Post Lilongwe, where Dr Andre preached a powerful message on water baptism. The service was followed by water baptism, where I had the privilege of baptizing 24 members of the church with CFCI Malawi Overseer, pastor Maya.
.
We look forward to seeing the success of the trainers teaching assignments over the next few months, as well as to return to Malawi next year to teach the content of semester 2!
