About the ministry
Evangelist Matthew Lee Ministries is Christ’s Heartbeat’s evangelism daughter ministry, run by our founder Matthew Lee.
This ministry precedes the founding of CHMI and was founded in September 2016 when Matthew – led by the Spirit of the Lord – began his YouTube channel Evangelist Matthew Lee. Since its inception, there have been almost 100 short encouraging messages posted on the YouTube channel.
In July 2020, during the covid-19 pandemic, the Lord placed it on Matthew’s heart to begin a daily devotional video series, to encourage people during the challenging times. God gave him the title “From heaven at seven” for the series, which to date continue to premiere live every Monday to Friday at 7am (CAT) on the Evangelist Matthew Lee Facebook page and YouTube channel.
However, the ministry has also expanded to include a variety of additional facets. EML Ministries have developed their own unique Soul Winning Workshop, called “Code RED” where they train up entire congregations in living a lifestyle of evangelism and how to be a more effective witness to those around us.
EML Ministries also works in partnership with various other ministries in setting up crusades, preaching at revival events, ministering during Sunday church services among other ministry related activities…
Evangelist Matthew also teaches some of the foundational courses and the 1st-3rd year Bible College students at various CFCI Bible College campuses.
Through the personal efforts of Evangelist Matthew, the ministry has seen over 1000 people make the decision to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior.

What in incredible privilege and honour it was to be able to teach the fifty odd pastors pastors, from 8 different countries across Africa, at the Judea Harvest church planting camp 2024 last week!

I taught them on the 20 most crucial questions, from the 50 questions for church growth course Dr Andre and I have been working on - From Good to Great...
.
What an great experience the camp was too! I learnt a lot from the many powerful teachings throughout the week, and got to meet, rub shoulders and make friends with some wonderful pastors over the duration of the camp.

From the 9th to the 15th of October I had the privilege of going to Zimbabwe, to do a week long solo trip, to train and encourage the various CFCI churches in and around Harare.
.
After landing on Wednesday the 9th, the first meeting was held at CFC Lion of Judah. I taught the Code RED evangelism crash course to the congregation, equipping the 58 people in attendance to be effective witnesses for Jesus.
.
On Thursday we had an evening service at CFC Harare South. I shared the message on the promises of God and the 73 people in attendance were blessed and encouraged by it.
.
On Friday we had an evening service at CFC Bharabhara. I shared a message about being God's mouthpiece. The 112 people in attendance were encouraged and equipped to allow the Holy Spirit to minister to people through them.
.
On Saturday afternoon, I had the privilege of teaching the Bible College students at the Chitungwiza campus. I taught them on the importance of developing a vision and putting the necessary structures in place to fulfill it.
.
On Saturday evening I preached at CFC Southly Park, where I shared a message about being created on purpose for purpose. The 55 people in attendance were blessed and encouraged by the message.
.
On Sunday morning, I preached a message titled "Many are called but few choose" to the 134 people in attendance at CFC Epworth. Everyone was equipped and encouraged to say yes to the call of God upon their lives.
.
On Sunday afternoon I spoke at CFC Bethel Assembly. I preached a Holy Spirit led message on the value of a word in season. The 21 in attendance were blessed and equipped to witness to the community around them.
.
Lastly, on the evening of Monday the 14th, I visited the farming congregation at CFCI Sherwood. I shared a message on Philippians 4, on the importance of being faithful with what we have in our hands right now. All 100 in attendance were challenged but also encouraged by the message.
.
I visited 8 CFC churches in a matter of 6 days. It was an incredibly fruitful trip. I look forward to hearing the many termionies when I return to Zimbabwe next year!
